The Ven Mahar Zeya Theikdi Adeikhtan Sayadaw was born of U Wei Doe and Daw San Thar Oo of Sunye village, Minbya Township, Rakhine State, Myanmar on Monday the 4th Wanning Day of Wa-Gaung, 1309 Myanmar Era (4th August 1947).
Sayadaw was novitiated at the age of 10 and fully ordained at the age of 20.
Under the noble guidance of different levels of the Sangha Organizations, Sayadaw started the Mahajeyyasidhi Adeikhtan practice – the Buddhanussati Bhavana, from the first New Year day of 1341 Myanmar era and became vegetarian.
As Sayadaw has already learned twenty types of stone inscriptions including Sanskrit and Brahmi, he wrote the various Buddhist literature and papers: The Mahajeyyasidhi Adeikhtan practice, Method of paying Homage to Muniraja Image, Lokhanatha,Devayekkhapuja, Method of paying Homage to Yesau Image and The Cakka Paritta of 28 Buddha.
Since 1996, The Venerable Sayadaw is a deeply revered holy man who is visiting several countries (Thailand, Lao, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Nepal, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, China, Australia, USA, Canada, England, France, Germany, etc) around the world every year in order to holy benefit humanity and religions.
From the donation received around the world, Sayadaw has been donating Kyat 35 lakhs for the disadvantaged universities students every month and also arranged medical treatment for the people at Sunye village.

following famous pagodas and religious buildings all over Myanmar:
40,000 sq.ft wide Mahajeyyasidhi Adeikhtan Sima hall at Sittwe (A$ 3 millions - Kyat 20,000 lakhs).
35 feet high Chan Tha Gyi standing Buddha statue at Palet Wa (A$ 150,000 - Kyat 1,000 lakhs).
70 feet high Law-Ka –Htate-Pan sitting Buddha statue at Pauk Taw (A$ 460,000 - Kyat 3,000 lakhs).
Lawka Marazine Sima hall at Pong Nar Kyun (A$ 460,000 - Kyat 3,000 lakhs).
72 feet high Mahar Kangyi Shin sitting Buddha statue at Kyauk Thaw (A$ 460,000 - Kyat 3,000 lakhs).
70 feet high Aung Supan standing Buddha statue at Pong Nar Kyun (A$ 150,000 - Kyat 1,000 lakhs).
126 feet high Mahar Kyein Thitsar Shin sitting Buddha statue at North Okalapa (A$ 2.5 million - Kyat 1,600 lakhs). The project is targeted to complete on end 2010.
Ananta Theikdi Su-Htoo-Pan sitting Buddha statue in Sydney is the first overseas project by Sayadaw.

With blessing and mandate from Adeikhtan Sayadaw, Adeikhtan Buddhist Association (ABA) – Australia was established on 31 January 2009. The members are:
Dr Kaung Wynn (President), Mr Theikdi Hla (Vice President), Mr Kyaw Zeya (Secretary), Dr Yu Yu Tin (Treasurer), Mrs Theingi Tin (Vice Treasurer), EC members ( Mr Wai Toe, Mrs Nila Wai Toe, Mr Ko Ko Aung, Dr Hla Sein Wai, Dr.Zaw Win Oo,Mr Aung Tha (Myanmar).
The ABA (Australia) has been officially registered and incorporated as an association by the NSW Government on 4 June 2009 with the Incorporation No. INC - 9891398.INC - 9891398.
As required by law, the Adeikhtan Buddhist Missionary Company (ABMC-ACN:138 063 993) was formed with Sayadaw, Dr Kaung Win, Mr Theikdi Hla as Directors, Mr Kyaw Zeya as Secretary, Dr Hla Sein Wai as Assistant Secretary, Dr Yu Yu Tin as Treasurer and Mrs Theingi Tin as Assistant Treasurer.
ABAA has been registred as the Member of the Buddhist Council of NSW (Membership No. 1904)on 17th Aug 2009).
Working Committee is formed under the management of ABMC and ABA Australia. Young professionals are engaged to manage the project. Mr Khin Maung Nyunt is the Communication and Media Manager and Mrs Tin Mie Mie Kyaw is the Finance Manager.
The manager for Administration, Museum, Operation & Maintenance, Meditation, Events, Marketing, Fund Raising, Architecture, Structure, Building , Land and Construction will be engaged soon.
